In the year Günther Pulverich GmbH was founded, the independent village of Ewersbach was still registered. This emerged from the three villages of Bergebersbach, Straßebersbach and Neuhütte. In keeping with this and its location in the forests of the Lahn-Dill highlands, the municipality has a boar in its coat of arms and is affectionately known as the “wild boar village” by the town’s youth.
