Mesh hose / braided hose:
Mesh conduits, also known as braided conduits, protective conduits or cable protection conduits, are used to protect surfaces, bundle cables or pipes and provide abrasion protection. They can be used flexibly as they are available in different sizes and diameter ranges.
The advantages:
- Protection against mechanical influences from surfaces (such as abrasion, scuffing or light scratches)
- Enables multiple cables or pipes to be bundled, which increases order, safety and clarity
- High flexibility, as the open mesh adapts to movements and bending radii
- Simple installation, as the stretchable structure can be easily guided over objects
- Good ventilation and heat dissipation, as air circulation is maintained and thus heat build-up is prevented (important e.g. for cable bundles)
- Reusable and therefore very economical
The areas of application:
- Industry and mechanical engineering (protection and bundling of objects)
- Automotive and vehicle construction (e.g. protection and bundling of cables and lines without preventing air circulation)
- Electrical engineering, switch cabinet construction, energy technology, IT, network and data technology (e.g. bundling of cables)
- Automation and robotics, medical technology (flexible cable bundling with maximum mobility)
- Plant and apparatus engineering (flexible protection in complex systems)
- Logistics, railroad technology (vibration-resistant and abrasion-proof protection)
- many other areas are conceivable…
The product:
Our mesh hoses are
- made of polyethylene
- available in graduated diameter ranges from a total of 10 mm to 300 mm (e.g. diameter range 20 – 45 mm)
- Color-coded so that the different diameter ranges can be selected quickly and correctly in practical use (e.g. diameter range 20 – 45 mm colored in magenta and thus coded)
- Available on practical rolls from which the desired insert lengths can be easily cut off
